Cut your trip in half when you travel aboard one of Trinidad and Tobago's Fast Ferries

Two high speed catamarans operated by the Trinidad Port of Authority run daily between Port of Spain, Trinidad and Scarborough, Tobago.

The trip aboard these Fast Ferries, named T&T Spirit and T&T Express, takes approximately three hours, during which time travelers can watch a movie, grab a drink at the bar, or just hang out on board and enjoy the scenery.

Children under the age of three and seniors over the age of 65 ride free of charge, though a ticket is still necessary. Tickets purchased the day of departure may be bought at the terminals, but those buying their tickets in advance will need to be purchased through a travel agency or Internet cafés.

Passengers may begin checking in and boarding their ferry two hours before sailing, three hours if transporting a vehicle. Check in will close a half an hour before departure time to ensure that the vessel leaves on time, so be sure to arrive before in a timely manner.
