Food

Cordon Bleu-trained chef and owner, Allyson Hennessy, outlines a creative Creole menu with an unusually scrumptious vegetarian choice of banquet. The authentic dish, callaloo soup, curried crab, oxtail and dumpling stew, West Indian hot pot with a variety of meat cooked in Creole style and vegetable lentil loaf with fruit punch form the main course. To top it with something sweet, pineapple upside-down cake is also prepared to make it a complete meal. Veni Mange serves International and Creole cuisine. It is open for lunch & dinner.

Ambiance

Painted in coral tones with louvered windows that help in the ventilation of the ample number of potted plants, Veni Mange is set in decors of a traditional West Indian house. Founded by chef and sister partners, Allyson Hennessy and Rosemary Hezekiah, a visit to this conventional eating-house is worth a visit.

Location

Given that Veni Mange is located in the Port of Spain area, if it's overcrowded or it isn't open, it is not far from other restaurants (as discussed below).
