Little Rockley Bay

Visitors will discover there are plenty of advantages to visiting a beach that's a long way from the nearest major city, like not having to struggle through a crowd every time you want to take a dip and Little Rockley Bay provides those rewards.

Little Rockley Bay is one of the larger beaches on Tobago and is home to grey sands and stunning views of the island's beauty. The eastern side is protected by a reef, and although a bit cloudy, the waters are calm and good for swimming close to the shore. The western side receives strong gusts from the ocean and is thus, very popular with kite surfers and other kinds of watersports. Little Rockley Bay is known as the best walking and jogging beach on the island because of its length and relative smoothness.

While Little Rockley Bay isn't far from the beaten path, other beaches in Trinidad and Tobago are a bit more urban than this one. Therefore, though a romantic walk on the beach might not be possible, it's certainly further outside of the main cities than other beaches.

It's best to remember that, though Little Rockley Bay is certainly not secluded, it is still further from the crowds than Trinidad and Tobago's other beaches. It's a great option for vacationers who would like to make the most of their time at the beach but hope to stay away from the most populated spots.

For some visitors the level of activity at a beach and its amenities are particularly important attributes. Others feel that it is the seclusion and the chance to waste away the day on the sand that is the most important thing. You have many beach choices in Trinidad and Tobago, and you may decide that Little Rockley Bay is just right for you.
